Outer Hebrides 2021 by Andrew Webster
The beauty of Lewis and Harris captured during a six day workshop this October. Wonderfully led by Margaret Soraya and Paul Sanders, a lovely group of photographers enjoyed spectacular beaches, eerie shielings, dark skies and wonderful hills.

Autumn Greys
There's nothing like black and white so I have been experimenting with images and styles. Here are some iconic locations - Dungeness and the Fens - and a selection of still life pictures created at home.

Closer to Home
Throughout the pandemic lockdown we spent almost all our time within a few kilometers of our home in South Holmwood in Surrey. We went out every day usually on foot or by bike. We only ventured further, a few extra kilometers, as volunteers helping people who were isolating with food, medicines and other needs. These photos are not a pre-conceived project. They are simply images taken as we walked around the local commons which caught our eye. We are lucky to live in beautiful place where nature was enhanced by the lovely spring weather. It was further enhanced by the absence of aeroplanes overhead (Gatwick was shut) and traffic noise from the local major roads. The quiet, the time, the boredom and anxiety made us appreciate the outdoors all the more. There is comfort in a view over the weald, the budding leaves, bluebell woods and wild flowers in the meadows. We hope this short film enables you to share and enjoy that solace.

India in Black and White
India is such a riot of colour and noise I have tried to capture it in monochrome and texture using old formats, paper textures and printing techniques.

A Splash of Colour
After my two monochrome selections I have switched to colour. I have always loved using vibrant colour as part of my photography and I hope this set of images shows why.

More Monochrome Musings
People really liked my first set of monochrome musings so here's another looking back over a few years and including favourite images from Scotland, London, California, Canada, France and England - you can probably identify lots of the locations.

Monochome Musings
I'm increasingly fascinated by monochrome imagery, here is a selection of photographs from the last year exploring landscape and architecture. I have set my camera up as a 1960s black and white film device to get as close as possible to an authentic look. You can see more of my work at www.andrewwebsterphoto.com and on instagram @andrewwebsterphotos
